I was discharged from USMC boot camp against my will. Can i wear an EGA logo in pride for the Marine Corps?

I'm not saying that I earned the title of Marine, I'm just proud that I could serve even for a little while the greatest fighting force in the world. I was discharged with an RE-3P for a supposed "knee injury" even though I had been begging the corpsmen to let me stay. I can not re- enlist now thanks to it but still love the Marine Corps. Is it wrong to show support by wearing an EGA logo on a jacket or something? Would that be taking it too far? I want advice from real Marines. Plz no trolling- I'm not saying I am a Marine I just need to know if that kind of support is okay with those who have rightly earned the title.
